Okay, you don’t really need to, but honor those who fight for us, sometimes giving their all. Thank them. And be grateful for their service.
Tip: use strong verbs where possible. Don’t just walk. That doesn’t show us how the character is walking. Let them stroll, amble, stomp, stride, tiptoe… these show us not only that they’re moving, but in what way and can help describe the scene better.
